Oracle Cloud has some great feature functionality that allows for flexibility in the deployment and management of an international organization. Business Units can be deployed to allow for true Global Procurement across ledgers, currencies, languages, and localizations, all well leveraging global purchasing power. Oracle E-Business Suite has long been a powerhouse for Global Organizations. Ledgers and Ledger Sets allow for quick visibility beyond a single ledger or point of view. But what are the key differences between EBS and Cloud for a multi-national? Are there compelling features and functions that may make a move to Cloud a no-brainer for some organizations? What configurations should be done OOB in EBS vs. Cloud and what tips and tricks can be used to improve on the functionality for a multi-national?
