Requisitions and Purchase Orders Approval Management
Abstract:
Oracle Cloud provides flexibility when it comes to the approvals of Purchasing documents. When configuring approvals for both requisitions and purchase orders, a business can decide between a variety of approval setups. Businesses can get as general or specific as they would like with their approval rules. From automatic approvals to drilling down to specific users, Cloud provides the ability to meet any business need. In this demonstration, Stephen Ward will provide a high-level overview of two approval hierarchy setups (position-based and job-based).
Stephen will provide a demonstration of key setups that are needed to configure a job-based approval hierarchy. These setups will include creating an employee, creating a job, and assigning a job to an employee. He will also demonstrate how to create several approval rules and approval groups. After reviewing the two approval hierarchies and walking through the key setups for a job-based hierarchy, Stephen will weigh the pros/cons of the two and provide real-life scenarios of how these approvals are used.
